Kidz1st is honored to receive the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) highest level of accreditation as a Patient-Centered Medical Home.  PCMH is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care, as well as build better relationships between people and their clinical care teams. Research shows that they improve quality, the patient experience and staff satisfaction, while reducing health care costs.

NCQA’s Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition Program is the most widely adopted Patient-Centered Medical Home evaluation program in the country. Kidz1st Pediatrics is honored to be the ONLY independent pediatric practice with a Level 3 designation - the highest level of achievement.  Please read more about Dr. Operti and this very special honor here.

As "Beaumont Doctors" we are honored to presented with awards noting our dedication to the safety and well-being of our patients.  As Beaumont doctors, our office is evaluated on many levels - including services, staff credentials, record keeping/reporting and follow up care.

The State of Michigan and Oakland County Health Departments focus on health promotion, disease prevention and accessibility of health services for all.  Kidz1st is recognized annually for attaining the highest percentage of immunized children in our practice for a variety of age groups.

The Consumers Research Council of America recognizes pediatricians on a point scale considering experience, training, professional associations, and board certification.  Dr. Silvia Operti-Considine has met their requirements annual for over 10 years.  

Kidz1st Pediatrics won the Richard Robinson Award through Reach Out and Read for our extraordinary committment to early childhood literacy.  Kidz1st does it because reading aloud every day with your child improves language development, vocabulary, school readiness, and family relationships.  We are the only program in northern Oakland County!  

Kidz1st Pediatrics has been honored several times by our Rochester Regional Chamber.  2017 marked 50 years in business at the same location!   In 2012, we won the "Philanthropic Business of the Year" award for our generosity to our patient families and community at large.  We provide clothing, books, diapers, formula and connect families to local agencies to address needs. 

In October 2014, Dr. Bradley Barnes won "Healthcare Professional of the Year".

Priority Health recognizes physicians and practices annually for offering exceptional care and making strides towards improved benchmarks as a Patient Centered Medical Home.  Kidz1st received this award in 2015!
